Trephine Blades

The CORONET™ range of trephines delivers a reliable and consistent vertical incision, improving wound architecture and reducing endothelial cell loss.

Each trephine features an ergonomically balanced aluminium body and the CORONET™ Cathedral Blade Technology, which minimises undercut and tissue distortion, The Cathedral blade also improves approximation between the donor button and patient cornea.

CORONET™ trephines are supplied sterile, single use only, one per box, with a declared 5-year shelf life. They are manufactured in the UK and is compatible with CORONET® Artificial Anterior Chamber (51-935). Standard and guarded trephines available.

CORONET® Cathedral Blade Technology creates an ultra-thin and sharp blade to minimise undercut and tissue distortion in all CORONET® Corneal Trephines.

The benefits are superior wound architecture compared to traditional trephines, in addition to providing improved approximation between the donor button and the patient cornea.
