Altomed have recently donated approximately £3000 worth of stock of Ophthafutur perflurocarbon liquids to Medical Aid Ukraine, following an initial enquiry from one of our long term customers in Scotland expressing an urgent need for specialist medical supplies.

We were put in touch with Tetiana Tukilush who did her clinical observership at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in 2016. Tetiana informed us of the great work Medical Aid Ukraine are performing in such difficult circumstances and also gave us an insight into the conditions her friends and family are experiencing in Ukraine. We are thankful to be able to help those affected by the situation in Ukraine.

We are proud that our friends and colleagues at Pharmpur GmbH (pharmpur.de) have also donated additional products which have been shipped directly from their manufacturing facility in Germany.

Hopefully lots of small gestures can make a big difference to the lives of others.
