Following Altomed’s announcement of its sponsorship of Alan, the confident and inquisitive Labrador puppy, we’re excited to share a new update on his journey.
Thanks to a recent report from Alan’s Puppy Raiser, we’re delighted to hear that Alan continues to embody the traits that make him such a promising guide dog in training. Described as “lively, sociable, and cheeky,” Alan is thriving as he learns the skills needed to transform lives.
Adventures and Achievements
Since our last update, Alan has been busy experiencing new environments and strengthening his skills. One highlight was a motorhome holiday, where Alan adapted beautifully to his surroundings, demonstrating his ability to settle in new environments, a vital skill for a guide dog.
Alan also enjoys plenty of social time at the park, where he meets up with his furry friends for free runs. These sessions not only keep him active but also help build the confidence and social skills he’ll need in his future role.
