The Malyugin Ring has become the standard of care for pupil management. When MST set out to redesign the Malyugin Ring Classic, they established three goals: improve or maintain the safety of the device, increase the ease of placement and removal from the pupil margin, and allow for ready entry in 2.0mm incisions.

After several years of research and development, we are proud to introduce the Malyugin Ring 2.0. We believe surgeons will find the Malyugin Ring 2.0 is even gentler, even easier to use, and requires no change in surgical technique.

Increased Scroll Gap

Larger spacing in between anterior and posterior scrolls allow for easier engagement and disengagement from the iris.

More Flexible

New smaller gauge material reduces the amount of force required to compress the ring by over 70%.

Small Incision Access

The new Malyugin Ring 2.0 injector now allows for access in 2.0mm and provides more room in larger wounds.
